Valerie Green (b. 1981) lives and works in Los Angeles. She received a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006 and an MFA from California Institute of Arts in 2011. Her work was included in two PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibitions: Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and Digital Capture: Southern California and the Pixel-Based Image World at the California Museum of Photography. Her work has been shown in exhibitions internationally and has been included in the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Tasweer Photo Festival in Doha, Qatar, Culver Center for the Arts at UC Riverside, Torrance Art Museum and the Aperture Foundation in New York. Green’s work is in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), The Getty Museum and the California Museum of Photography among others.
